camel back

The Andersons continue to keep local vets in business.
Luther went to the vet today because he's had diarrhea for 3 days. This is pretty common, poor Luther has such a sensitive stomach. It's a good thing he doesn't have Moxie's appetite. So suddenly his diarrhea became bloody and was accompanied by vomit. Luther has never vomited on our watch. So... away we go to the vet. Turns out he's probably fine. He's got some flagyl to kill of any bugs that are too bad and he's back on his rice and protein diet until this clears up. He did get a liter bolus of fluids which temporarily turned him into a camel. This was incredibly cute. They gave it to him subcutaneously instead of intravenously, which I thought was strange. See pictures.
A pretty uneventful weekend other than the above. Moxie ate more foot lotion, a different kind even, I'm not sure why she likes it so. We spent the evening watching this movie Hachiko: A Dog's Story (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachik%C5%8Dlast night. We all ate popcorn, we all cried. I might be lying about that last part, but I'm sure I cried enough for all of us. You should go watch it.
